Its co-location within the QIMR Berghofer Campus, directly adjacent to Australia’s largest Phase I clinical trial unit and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, enables seamless integration of clinical sample collection, processing, and analysis. This proximity minimises sample transport times, uniquely positioning Agilex for time-sensitive flow cytometry assays and rapid Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMC) isolation. This optimises cell viability and ensures rapid data turnaround to support critical clinical decision-making in early-phase development.
To further strengthen clinical integration nationally, similar flow cytometry capabilities are being established within the CMAX Phase I unit in Adelaide and at an Agilex facility in Sydney.
