David Paterson

David Paterson is the Compliance & Quality Manager at Agilex Biolabs, bringing over 15 years of experience in regulated bioanalytical, pharmaceutical, and toxicology environments. Since joining Agilex in 2019, David has held progressive leadership roles in QA, before stepping into his current position in 2024.

David leads the Quality Assurance team and is responsible for the strategic oversight of Agilex’s Quality Management System. He manages the audit program, and regulatory inspections, and serves as the authorised representative to the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). As a member of the Senior Management Team, David plays a key role in driving quality culture and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Prior to joining Agilex, David held QA and QC roles in the pharma industry, where he gained extensive experience in regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. His technical expertise is complemented by a strong foundation in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and regulatory interpretation.

David holds a Bachelor of Technology in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Flinders University and is an IRCA-certified Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor. He has also completed a Diploma of Leadership and Management and numerous professional development programs in GxP, data integrity, vendor oversight, and computer system validation.

David is a member of the Research Quality Association (RQA) and the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA).
